The British royal family has returned all of Prince Andrew's royal and military titles to the Queen.
As a result, Prince Andrew will no longer be able to exercise official palace status.
Her royal title was returned after a US court ruled that the sexual assault charges against her could proceed.
Prince Andrew has denied the allegations against him.
Who is Prince Andrew?
The 161-year-old Duke of York is the Queen's third child and ninth in line to the throne.
Prince Charles is her brother.
He is divorced from Sarah, Duchess of York.
Andrew has two daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie.
What is the charge against Prince Andrew?
The Duke of York has been accused of sexual misconduct in a civil case in the US.
According to documents submitted to the court, Virginia Juffre said that she was sexually trafficked and abused by Jeffrey Epstein from the age of 16.
One of the allegations also includes allegations of abuse by other men in powerful positions, including Prince Andrew.
Juffre alleges Duke sexually assaulted her three times when she was under the age of 18.
But Prince Andrew has consistently denied all the allegations against him.
In an interview with BBC News Night in 2019, he said that he did not even remember meeting Virginia Juffre.
What titles did Prince Andrew lose?

His military appointment was suspended in 2019 after he stepped down from public duties.
But now he has lost several UK military titles.
He has lost the distinguished role of Colonel of Grenade Guards in the British Army in 2017 from his father, Prince Phillips.
Other positions he lost are as follows:
Honorary Air Commodore of Raf Lossiemouth
Colonel in Chief of the Small Arms School Corps
Colonel in Chief of Queen Elizabeth's Own Royal Lancers
Colonel in Chief of the Yorkshire Regiment
Commodore in Chief of the Fleet Air Arm
Royal Colonel of the Royal Highland Fusiliers
Royal Colonel of the Royal Regiment of Scotland

In the Navy, his service role of Vice Admiral will continue.
Was the queen returned?
As a royal patron he is also freed from the responsibility of promoting any matter or service.
Prince Andrew was the patron of around 200 institutions.
But after he denied having sex with Virginia Juffre in a 2019 BBC interview, many of them abandoned him.
These include the Outward Bound Trust, the English National Ballet, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and London Metropolitan University.
Prince Andrew has not been removed from patronage at dozens of other institutions, including prestigious golf clubs, schools and cultural foundations.
But now those custodianships will be returned to the Queen herself and distributed to other members of the royal family.
What other roles did Prince Andrew play?
After retiring from the Navy, Prince Andrew worked as the UK's Special Envoy for Trade for 10 years.
But he gave up the role after being criticized for his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein was jailed for 18 months in 2008 for soliciting a minor for sex.
He was also criticized for mixing business with pleasure during foreign trips.
Some newspapers even nicknamed him "Airmiles Andy".
The prince's judgment was questioned over his meeting with Saif, the son of Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi.
He was also criticized for inviting the son-in-law of ousted Tunisian president Zine El Abdi Ben Ali to Buckingham Palace.
A secret WikiLeaks cable released in 2010 revealed that he spoke in a pompous manner during government meetings and described the discussion as vulgar.
