75% of Twitter employees not thinking about layoffs: Elon Musk
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter is currently being discussed again. Musk, who had refused to buy this social media platform in the past citing various reasons, is currently looking positive.
Recently, after he bought Twitter, the news of firing 75 percent of the company's employees was discussed. Various media quoted Musk as saying that he wanted to remove 75 percent of Twitter's employees.
Musk, who took a basin from Mercury to Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco, went there and said that he would not lay off employees. Musk expressed that he was not thinking about cutting the number of employees.
Musk, who currently has more than 110 million Twitter followers, has written 'Chief Tweet' in his bio. Twitter's complaint against Musk regarding the purchase of Twitter for 44 billion dollars will be heard this Friday.
At the moment, Musk is very positive about buying Twitter. Analysts say the sarcastic Musk may have said the Twitter layoffs were just for fun.
Thus, cutting such a large number of employees at once is a very risky undertaking for any social media outlet. Still, Twitter employees are in a quandary about whether or not Musk will fire employees after purchasing Twitter.
