Chrome has become the weakest browser among the older browsers. Mozilla Firefox is the second most vulnerable browser after Chrome. 117 security vulnerabilities have been found in Mozilla Firefox.



Similarly, Microsoft Edge is in the third position with 103 vulnerabilities, while Safari and Opera are in the fourth and fifth positions with 26 and 0 vulnerabilities respectively.


Since its launch in 2008, Chrome has had the highest number of security vulnerabilities to date.


According to the report, a total of 3,159 security vulnerabilities have been found since the launch of this browser till date. While Firefox, Safari and Opera are all older browsers than Chrome. 2361, 1139 and 344 security vulnerabilities were found in these browsers respectively.


Similarly, a total of 806 vulnerabilities have been discovered in the Microsoft Edge browser since 2015.
