Analysts of Trendforce have brought out the details of the camera, memory, modem and connectivity used in the iPhone 15 series. It is said that the company will include a Type-C port replacing the Lightning port.


According to Trendforce, 6 GB to 8 GB of RAM will be used in the iPhone 15 series. In which a new ATP (eight element) lens will be used for the primary camera. The iPhone 14 model has a seven element lens. Similarly, it is said that there will be a periscope lens for the Pro model.


It is said that every model of iPhone 15 will have a USB-C connector instead of a lighting port. Apple's vice president of global marketing, Greg Joswick, said that the company must comply with the rules of the European Union (EU).


A new EU regulation states that all phones sold in EU countries must include a USB-C port by 2024. It is not clear whether the company is going to provide the Type-C port only on phones sold in European countries or if it will be available on all phones.


Similarly, according to Trendforce, Apple is going to use Qualcomm's X70 modem for the first time in the new iPhone. Which is considered very useful for periscope lens.
