 Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched its first smartphone with a 200 megapixel camera. The company organized a virtual event on Thursday and introduced Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 12 Explorer under the Redmi Note 12 series.


The Xiaomi Note 12 Explorer released by the company has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Powered by MediaTek Dimension 1080 chipset, this phone is based on Android version 12 and MIUI 13.



Xiaomi Note 12 Pro has a 200-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera sensor. For selfie connoisseurs, this phone includes a 16 megapixel single camera.


This phone has a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass sensors and is available in 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage variants.


In this phone with a battery capacity of 4300 mAh, the company is going to provide 210 watt fast charging, which the company claims will take 5 minutes to charge 66 percent and 9 minutes to fully charge. Currently, it is around 330 euros (about 43 thousand 600 rupees).


According to the company, the phones of this series will be available in the world market on November 3.
