Causes of uric acid and how to control it

Uric acid is one of the acids in the blood. It is present in small amounts in the body and is soluble in water. It is excreted by the kidneys in the urine. But when the uric acid that is produced in excess in the body cannot be removed properly by the kidneys, then the uric acid in the blood increases.

When the production of uric acid in the body increases, the kidneys cannot eliminate it completely. Due to which it starts accumulating in the joints and tissues. When the amount of uric acid in the body increases, not only joint pain and swelling, but also many other problems can occur.

Cause of uric acid

The level of uric acid in the body can increase due to many reasons. Uric acid is more common in kidney problems. Because uric acid is produced in the body, it is produced from the food we eat. The same thing has to be 'filtered' by the kidneys and come to our urine. But in kidney patients, uric acid does not filter, that's why uric acid increases.

Another main factor of uric acid is heredity. And, some cancer patients also have the possibility of increasing uric acid. High blood pressure, obesity, uncontrolled eating, alcohol consumption can also affect the amount of uric acid.

Foods with a lot of purine, red meat, and food packed in bags can also cause problems by increasing uric acid in the body.

symptoms

Symptoms of uric acid include joint pain, joint swelling, redness, inability to move joints, kidney stones and pain when waking up in the morning.

Increasing the amount of uric acid in the body increases the risk of these diseases

If uric acid is more than normal, it will harm the body and cause various problems. If uric acid is high, it will affect the big toe causing joint problems. If not treated on time, uric acid accumulates in any part of the body. It freezes in the form of stones in the kidney.

Most of the uric acid affects the big toe, causing crystals to form and cause severe pain. This sequence increases.

Control measures

Consuming enough water or bland foods, which flushes out more uric acid through urine.

You should eat milk, fruits, green vegetables, curd and salad. Eating foods that are high in protein should be balanced. Care should be taken in eating. Do not eat red meat, liver, lungs, liver, intestines.

Do not eat sea food, sea fish. Alcoholic beer should not be consumed. Alcoholic drinks increase the amount of uric acid in the body and prevent the uric acid produced in the body from being excreted through urine.

Carbonated drinks like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Sprite, Fanta increase uric acid. Therefore, such drinks should not be consumed. Regular exercise and yoga help in reducing obesity. Reducing obesity means reducing the risk of uric acid. If physical exercise and yoga are done on a daily basis, uric acid problem will not occur. Even if you have uric acid, it helps to heal quickly.

In what condition to take medicine?

Nepalis have a habit of taking medicine even if any problem increases slightly. Even if the level of uric acid in the blood increases to some extent, there is no need to take medicine. If it is more than 12 in boys and more than 10 in girls, medicine should be taken only.

Along with medication, paying attention to diet, physical exercise, yoga, etc. also reduce uric acid. Also, uric acid should be checked from time to time. By doing this, it is known that the decrease of uric acid is increased.
