Ghodtapre is used in home remedies in villages. Its leaf juice is drunk when there is a cold or fever. Leaf syrup (juice) mixed with ginger and pepper can also be drunk.
Consuming the powder made from grinding it can cure ulcers and gastric diseases. A paste made by grinding fresh flowers and applying it to burnt wounds heals it. 10 milliliters or two spoonfuls of juice can be consumed daily to remove pain in the body. Ledo is also beneficial for the prevention of skin diseases.
Method of use
When using Ghodtapre for various health problems, its leaves are cleaned and chewed, the juice extracted and made into a paste. It can be consumed daily by making 10 ml or two spoonfuls of juice.
Two teaspoons of dried leaves i.e. 150 ml can be boiled in hot water for 10-15 minutes and consumed three times a day.
Precautions to be taken
There is no toxicity in the prescribed dose. The side-effects are also less, but if used in large quantities, problems such as skin allergy, burning and headache, stomach ache, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may be seen.
If a pregnant woman consumes more, the problem of miscarriage may also appear. Due to the lack of research, it is suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers not to consume it.
One should not take it for more than 6 weeks when taking it continuously. If you have to eat, you can not eat for two weeks and again for 6 consecutive weeks. Patients should not take it with sleeping pills. Cholesterol and hypoglycemia patients should also keep it in mind and take it only after consulting the doctor.
