Most nausea occurs during the third month of pregnancy. For some, it takes a few days, while for others, nausea can persist for months.

Nausea, indigestion, and vomiting are common during pregnancy. In some cases, it is considered as the first sign of pregnancy.

The reason for nausea during pregnancy is the change in hormones. At that time, a type of hormone called human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) is needed to develop the embryo in the uterus. During pregnancy, the level of this hormone starts to increase suddenly.

This hormone has a direct effect on a woman's stomach and intestines, which causes morning sickness (nausea upon waking up in the morning) or nausea upon eating. This process continues for three months and then gradually everything gets better. Because after three months, the level of this hormone in the body decreases.

How to stop nausea?

Sometimes nausea may occur during pregnancy due to other reasons. If nausea is caused due to pregnancy and therefore uncomfortable, medicine can be taken to prevent it. However, the medicine should not be taken on its own, a doctor should be consulted.

Some people think that anti-nausea medication should not be taken during pregnancy because it affects the developing fetus. This is wrong. Anti-nausea medication is safe. According to the doctor's advice, you can eat up to two or three times.

If the medicine does not stop the nausea, there is an option to go to the hospital and get an injection.

Does food cause nausea?

During pregnancy, some people like to eat food, while others do not like it. Therefore, it may be thought that the nausea is caused by the food itself. There are women who stop eating because they feel nauseous.

However, the cause of nausea during pregnancy is not food. So you don't have to eat food. Apart from alcohol, cigarettes, other foods are eaten. At this time, the body needs other food. Needs plenty of nutrition. Therefore, if you do not eat food, there may be a lack of nutrients such as glucose, protein.

However, since there is no taste, one cannot eat properly. You may feel dizzy at the sight of fish and meat, you may not feel like eating curd milk. What to do in such a situation?
